Privacy Policy

This policy is effective as of August 15, 2020.

What does this mean?
My website collects information from your browser e.g. “You’re using Chrome 84 on MacOS” or “You’re using Safari on an iPhone 11”, as well as when you visited the page and how much time you spent there. I also get a general sense of where you’re visiting from (usually your country). Also, my contact form asks for your full name and email address. This is so I can email you back!
What does this mean?
I don’t give your information out to other people. I only use the information you give me on the contact form to get in touch with you. If you send me a message using my content form, I’ll reply as soon as I can. Following that, I generally archive the email, so I have a copy stored.
What does this mean?
The information you provide on my contact form is used to email you back, while the device and browser information is used to fix website bugs and improve my content.
What does this mean?
I use a platform called Google Analytics (by Google, obviously) to view traffic and behaviour on my website. The data collected from your browser and device are sent straight to their servers.
What does this mean?
While Google is primarily based in the U.S., data from your browser / device collected by my website is stored on a randomly selected public cloud located in the US, EU or Asia (to the best of my knowledge). By using this site and submitting your contact information, you’re essentially saying you’re fine with that.
What does this mean?
TL;DR: you have a right to how your personal information is collected and used. Some key points though: you should be over 16 or have your parent’s permission, I’ll protect your info regardless of how I receive it and if you don’t want me keeping your contact form details, let me know and I’ll delete it.
What does this mean?
Google Analytics uses “cookies” (no, not that type) to distinguish you from other people, plus other things you can read about here. For more information about how we use cookies, go and read our Cookies Policy.
What does this mean?
I’m only responsible for what’s on my website, not websites I link to. I’m not overlord of the internet... yet.
What does this mean?
I’ll update this policy whenever I feel like it, yo.
